We do not ask you to submit patient records or patient health information through this website.

Do not send patient lists, medical information, treatment records or other patient health information through this website.

Kept’s website audit is based on your practice’s public presence and the business information you provide to us.

If you become a Kept customer and Kept needs to process patient or other sensitive information on your behalf, that processing is handled through the applicable customer agreement and appropriate data-processing and security arrangements.

Additional agreements, including a BAA where required, may apply before applicable health information is processed.

Messages sent by Kept

Where Kept sends messages to patients or other contacts on behalf of a practice, the practice remains responsible for providing the information and permissions required for those communications.

The specific communication rules depend on the type of message, recipient, channel and applicable law.

Kept’s services are configured to follow the communication requirements agreed with the practice, including applicable opt-out processes.

Cookies and analytics

This website does not use advertising cookies or cross-site advertising trackers.

We may use analytics or similar tools to understand how people use the website and improve it. Where those tools use cookies or other identifiers, the relevant information is handled according to the provider’s settings and applicable requirements.

Information security

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect information against unauthorised access, loss, misuse or disclosure.

No internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

If we become aware of a security incident affecting your information, we will handle it in accordance with applicable law and our contractual obligations.

We may need to verify your identity before completing certain requests.

Children’s information

This website is intended for practice owners, staff and other business users. It is not directed at children.

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children through this website.

International visitors

Kept is intended primarily for US practices. If you access the website from outside the United States, your information may be processed in the United States or other countries where our service providers operate.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time.

When we make a material change, we will update the date at the top of this page and provide additional notice where required.
